The Ultimate Resident Evil 2 Quiz

For every game that drops us into an abandoned city, every corridor that exhibits a scene of bloody carnage, we are reminded of a Capcom classic that first thrilled gamers with these simple hooks.

The follow up to the wildly successful horror-survival title of 1996, Resident Evil 2 was a near-perfect sequel: polished action sequences were held up by an engrossing story, with gore-fests broken up by tricky key retrieval tasks - all set to a terrifying score. Its re-released Dual Shock Version was the first game that had us trembling with fear as our controller jumped out of our hands.

In order to pass the time before the arrival of the Resident Evil remake and Resident Evil: Revelations 2 in early 2015, we've compiled a quiz to test the most devoted of fans. Grab your herbs - here's hoping you make it out alive.
