Super Smash Bros. In First-Person Could Be The Future Of Gaming

If we were completely honest, the question: “What would Super Smash Bros. look like in real life?” has never once entered our brain boxes.

But if it did the answer would apparently be: “AWESOME."

Created by filmmakers Sam Wickert and Eric Leigh AKA the Youtube channel SoKrispyMedia, the above video is a visceral first person take on the iconic game, putting you in the eyeballs of Mario as he goes Smash Bro pro on Link and Kirby.

Full props go to Wickert and Leigh for making this a bazillion times more entertaining than the ill-fated Super Mario movie. What's more, their decision to show ‘Mario’ donning a VR headset is a definite nod to the future of gaming.

It’s only a matter of time…
