Stunning World of Speed trailer

When we first heard of a stunning trailer for unseen game World of Speed, we assumed we'd be getting a gritty crime game about the Class A amphetamine.

Turns out it's about cars.

Screeching out of the garage of Slightly Mad Studios, the team behind Need for Speed: Shift, World of Speed is a massively multiplayer (more than you can squeeze in your living room) title headed to PCs later this year.

Drivers will take to the streets of the world (London, Moscow and Monaco confirmed, with many more locations promised) to compete in teams, modifying their cars with XP gained from racing. Players will apparently have to co-operate with their team-mates if they're to successfully complete mini-goals and gain valuable experience points in races and events.

Not convinced? Check out the staggeringly life-like trailer below.
