It's four years and counting since Grand Theft Auto IV entered our lives, and we know you can hardly wait any longer for information on the follow-up.

Well, the game is still very much in development, but the good people at Rockstar Games have dangled a few pixels in front of our noses, to keep us sated for now, in the form of these screengrabs from the game.

A soaring helicopter and a poolside view: it's not much but it means it's on the way; another trailer is expected to be released soon, with the full game still 'pretty likely' to be released this year, according to sources.

We'll give you a hand with the coding if it'll help speed things up OK guys?
