Q*Bert Gets PlayStation Reboot

qbert1.jpg

Finally - a game that's going to push your high definition, 60fps, powerhouse of a games console to the absolute limit.

Wait, our mistake.

The classic arcade game of the 1980s, Q*Bert is headed to Sony's stable of consoles for an updated, 3D outing.

Q*Bert: Rebooted offers players two experiences - a pixel-perfect remake of the original 2D graphics that entertained thousands of 80s arcade gamers, and a contemporary 3D version, that tweaks the original visuals while adding new layers of jumping-related puzzles with hexagonal grids in place of the old squares.

Well, you can't say they don't make them like they used to.

Q*Bert arrives on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita later this year
