Once, all video game controllers were a mucky shade of grey. Then they were black. Then they were white. Now, with the launch of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, they're black again.

For those wanting something a little more 'jazzy' from their next-gen experience, the creative minds at Evil Controllers have stepped in to make full use of the colour spectrum - with glorious results.

Long-time creators of modified and alternative controllers, Evil Controllers have bagged themselves a number of Xbox One and PS4 peripherals and given them a thorough reworking. You can view their full range here, but you'll have to splash out the best part of £70 to get your fingers round one.
