We've got two words that should send a ripple of pleasure down gamers' spines: FINISH HIM!

Having been rumoured, leaked and knocked about the internet for several weeks now, NetherRealm Studios has finally lifted the blood-splatter veil off the latest Mortal Kombat title.

The tenth addition to the 22-year-old franchise, the new Mortal Kombat X trailer doesn't disappoint: exceedingly shiny graphics, two of the game's most familiar characters and a suitably brutal finishing move.

Due to arrive on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC in 2015, we'll bring you more news as soon as we've fought it into submission.
