Mario Kart 8 Happy Meals

mario.jpg

Ever needed an incentive to eat a meal from McDonald's? How about a miniaturised version of the greatest racing game of the last five minutes?

McDonald's US has revealed that the next toys finding their way into a salt-soaked Happy Meal will be a range of Mario Kart 8 figures - and you'd be lying if you said you didn't want one.

Mario is on something of a marketing rampage at the moment, following an appearance in UK Happy Meals and a rather bizarre turn in a Japanese Mercedes ad. No word yet on whether the MK8 figures will make their way to the UK, so if you're headed to the US in the next few weeks - be a dear and pick us up a full set?

Hopefully this will cheer Luigi up. Goodness knows he needs it.
