Man completes hardest Mario level ever and weeps

‘Can you call that diminutive Italian plumber we know to fix a burst water main? Oh wait, no, that’s just a pool of tears’

We can’t say we would blame anyone for getting a bit blubbery after completing what could very well be the hardest Mario level ever created. Not least the Japanese gamer who can be heard choking up in the video below following some of the best platforming we’ve ever seen.

As tricky as it sounds, Pit Of Pange: P-Break on Super Mario Maker combines near impossible traps with some of the most perilous jumps we’ve ever seen. It took its creator five hours to design and nine hours to beat, with only six people of the half-a-million souls to have tried it actually completing it.

Yet this guy somehow pulls it off, timing every move to Groundhog Day-like precision and pulling off insane manoeuvres to guide his character to safety.

We’ve all got a friend who’s got a bit emotional after too many mushrooms, but this is something else.
