EXCLUSIVE: LEGO Star Wars trailer reveals Poe Dameron's character story

If we had one teeny, tiny complaint about JJ Abrams' masterful handling of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it can be summarised thusly:

"Jeeze, Poe Dameron is pretty awesome. I wish he had more screen time."

The moment we were introduced to Oscar Isaac's wise-cracking, cooler than cool space cowboy, we didn't really want him to leave. Where had this guy come from? How did he become involved in the Resistance? Would we ever be provided with a background to our new favourite hero?

Well the answer is yes - thanks to LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Over the course of the game, players will be able to fill in the blanks on a host of characters from the latest Star Wars saga.

The exclusive trailer above is the first video in a series of LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens character vignettes, shining a spotlighting on decorated X-wing pilot Poe Dameron, one of the Resistance’s most-trusted operatives. The video also features original dialogue from Isaac who plays Poe Dameron in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

You'll have to wait until 28 June before you can start reacquainting yourself with Poe and co.
