Edit: This 'leaked' controller has since been proven to be a fake device created by an avid Nintendo fan on their own 3D printer. We'll just have to guess at what Nintendo has up their sleeve for a few weeks longer.
You know the drill: rumours start flying around that a tech company is working on something big, an official spokesperson hints that there might be some truth in it, and then the leaks turn up - usually in the form of a blurred photo of a metal square that looks like it was taken from a moving van. Blindfolded.
Not so with the Nintendo NX. Not only has Nintendo confirmed that it's working on a new console, the first leak of the hardware has been taken by someone who knows how to operate a camera.
This is apparently the mobile controller unit that will accompany the NX.
