Halo 5's multiplayer looks incredible

halo4.jpg

In a crowded exhibition hall in Cologne, Germany, Gamescom is getting grown gamers all hot and bothered.

The cause? A new trailer for Halo 5's multiplayer offering.

Is it different from anything we've seen before? Not really. Will it redefine how we play video games? Not at all. It's more of the same frantic Spartan-on-Spartan that we've come to know and love from Halo's 14 year history - just a little bit quicker and a smidgen slicker, lots of small changes amounting to the best multiplayer you've ever played.

Which, in essence, means it's set to be the best game you've had a 14-year-old beat you at, before hearing him describe just what relations he's apparently had with your mother.

Game on.
