Grab an extra gaming fix

Gaming has never been more popular. Whether we’re playing next-gen favourites such as Fifa 13, Borderlands 2 or Call Of Duty, or mobile giants such as Angry Birds, Jetpack Joyride and Tetris, many of us spend large swathes of our days gaming.

However, the way we enjoy games is changing, with many more of us downloading games instead of buying the physical copies. Could this spell the end of gaming as we know it? Will cloud technology kill the console?

This is just one of the topics up for debate in Games 24Seven, a free gaming magazine inside this week’s issue of ShortList, packed with the latest gaming news and views.

With the big releases jostling for contention ahead of Christmas, there are some huge games on the horizon. As well as running the rule over these, Games 24Seven has all the news from the Gamescom show in Cologne including the lowdown on the epic Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, the latest blockbuster from Japanese great Hideo Kojima, in addition to the aforementioned debate on the pros and cons of cloud gaming.
