Frantic Launch Trailer For Lara Croft And the Temple Of Osiris

croft.jpg

Lara's back. And so are the crop top and shorts.

No, the gritty reboot of Tomb Raider hasn't ditched its origin story sensibilities. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is the creation of Crystal Dynamics - a title that condenses the ruin exploring action the franchise is best known for into a top-down, four player frenzy, thick on action and puzzle solving.

The sequel to the award-winning Guardian of Light, Lara and an unlikely band of adventurers (including imprisoned gods Isis and Horus) battle through the underworld of Egypt in search of the scattered remains of the Egyptian deity Osiris, competing for treasure, kills and artifacts. As the launch trailer shows, this is a game for those of you longing for the good old days of hidden rotating blades and spike-filled pits, push/pull block puzzles and double pistol showdowns.

Happy raiding.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 9 December
