Dark Souls III opening cinematic promises HUGE enemies

Praise the Sun, he's a big fella ain't he?

From Software don't look to be scaling things back on the third instalment of Dark Souls - a franchise that's surely claimed more broken controllers and howls of rage than any other in recent gaming history.

The opening cinematic reveals the horrors that await players in Lothric, including the gargantuan forms of Yhorm the Giant, Aldrich Saint of the Deep and Farron's Undead Legion.

It's going to be a merciless, unforgiving, horrible experience. And we can't wait.

Dark Souls III arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 12 April 2016
