Time was, you weren't able to move in a video game store without running into the trenches, bayonets and clichés of a stack of World War II titles. Mercifully, Enemy Front looks to have a fresh take on one of history's darkest moments.

Following American war correspondent Robert Hawkins, the game allows players to 'drop in' on various factions that the reporter encounters on his tour of war-ravaged Europe - witnessing the devastating scenes of France, Germany, Norway and the Warsaw Uprising in Poland.

With options to take on enemies with stealthy sniping, sneaky sabotage or front-on assaults, Enemy Front hopes to keep you coming back for more. Check out the new story trailer for a taste of the things to come.

Enemy Front arrives on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 13 June
