Brilliant Mashup Of Retro Gaming Soundtracks

Game2.jpg

Well, this is 8-bit special...

"Take twenty classic video game tunes. Combine slowly, stirring until smooth. Leave to set on the windowsill."

Not our words, the words of The Peterson - once responsible for a series of excellent gaming YouTube videos and now a mashup comprising some of the most childhood-defining gaming soundtracks ever (along with a few modern ones for good measure).

Skipping between retro tunes as flawlessly as Sonic would bound over a spike pit, each chiptune is deftly layered onto the next, eventually bringing about one frenzied piece of epic 8-bit noise. Turns out there’s an awful lot you can do with a few bleeps.

Your nostalgia is going to love this.
