Borderlands To Launch Vault Hunter Competition

borderlands2.jpg

As the murderous Handsome Jack would say, "Citizens of Opportunity! You represent the beginning of a grand adventure!". Rest assured, this one isn't going to end up with a gun fight.

To mark the launch of Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection, publisher 2K is teaming up with retailer GAME to give players the chance of becoming real life Vault Hunters.

On Friday 27 March, loot lockers brimming with Borderlands goodies will be delivered to four GAME stores around the UK. The first 20 customers to visit one of the stores with proof of their Borderlands: The Handsome Collection pre-order will be allowed to pick from one of 20 special golden keys, only one of which will unlock the chest and reveal the loot - which will include the sold-out Claptrap robot, a Turtle Beach gaming headset (Xbox ONE or PS4), a Borderlands Funko Doll, a Jakobs leather messenger bag, 12 exclusive lithographs and other assorted memorabilia.

GAME stores at London's Westfield Stratford, Birmingham's Bullring, St David's in Cardiff and Braehead in Glasgow will each take possession of a loot locker - be sure to head down early to stand a chance of winning the hoard.

Happy hunting.

Borderlands: The Handsome Jack collection is out on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 27 March
