Bloodborne's macabre combat trailer

Bored of the same-old guns'n'grenades action offered up by the vast majority of video games? Do you long for something a bit challenging, something that will test your mettle to breaking point? Was Dark Souls II just a little bit too infuriating? Then you're going to love Bloodborne.

The latest twisted RPG hack-and-slash action game from Japanese (obviously) developer FromSoftware, Bloodborne is set to whip up a gothic storm on the PlayStation 4 when it arrives in February next year.

Set in the ancient city of Yharnam, a curse with a strange endemic illness is spreading through the streets, transforming knights and soldiers into horrific beings of vast proportions. Armed with equally massive blades, it's your task to slice your way through the massing undead and put a stop to their bloody mischief.
