Assassin's Creed gets a reimagining with new 'Chronicles: China' title
21 April 2015

With a level of stealthy surprise akin to that of a time tabled bus or month containing the letter 'A', there's a new Assassin's Creed game in town.

But you can stop that eye mid roll - Ubisoft isn't looking to pump its million-selling roof top botherer dry with a copy-and-paste offering. The first of three separate chapters in a new Chronicles series, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China sees the stealth action take a new direction, with a bold 'hand-drawn' visual style and a dynamic platforming view that places a greater emphasis on jumping and climbing than fancy swordplay.

Set in China, 1526, players take on the role of Shao Jun, the last remaining Assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood. The action takes place amidst the fall of the Ming dynasty, it's up the Shao (or rather, you) to restore the fallen Chinese brotherhood of assassins.
