10 Urban Myths Of Gaming

We're sorry to break it to you, but New York's sewers aren't filled with crocodiles, you haven't swallowed 120 spiders in your sleep and the Moon landing didn't take place in a car park. And the disappointment doesn't stop there.

The myth-busters at Liberty Games have set the record straight for ten prevalent urban myths from the world of gaming.

From Luigi's falsely reported non-corporeal state in Luigi's Mansion to the hidden boss battle of Street Fighter II that never was, anyone still clinging to the childish belief that video game makers can predict the future or hide their extreme political stances in level designs are about to be disappointed.

Still no word on whether Super Mario Bros is actually a story about a new Abrahamic religion, but we'll let you know as soon as Nintendo get back to us with a comment.
