This sandwich gadget is a total game changer

sandwichknifepic1.jpg

This is literally the best thing since sliced bread.

Solving a problem that we didn't even know existed, The Sandwich Knife is here to revolutionise lunchtime, by reducing the amount of slicing you have to do by a cool 50 percent.

It achieves this by simply doubling the amount of blades found on a 'conventional' (and now hideously outdated) knife. As if this wasn't enough, one of the blades is slightly shorter than the other, meaning that it creates an envelope-style sandwich rather than two fully-separated slices, which the makers Wednesday Merchants claim enables the filling to remain snugly betwixt slices, resulting in a superior sandwich experience.

The invention - which features stainless steel blades, a rubber handle and is dishwasher safe - is currently being funded via Kickstarter and is around 10 percent funded, so there's a while to go yet. You can pledge to buy one for £25 ($38), with delivery (if funding is reached) due for October.

Head to the page here, and get b-ready to embrace the future of sandwich making.
