The Stunning Alpine Headphones

Think of Alpine and you might well think about cars. Partly because of the air fresheners, we’ll give you that, but mainly because of that hulking great in-car stereo equipment...

Well now Alpine are now making moves into the arena of high-end headphones, and judging from this bass-clunking pair, looking as if they’ve been directly lifted from the set of some 2030 set sci-fi film, they might just be a game changer.

Powered by a set of twin drivers, amplifiers and integrated digital signal processors, they go one better than Beats and the like by connecting to an app via Bluetooth which allows listeners to alter the sound profile as they go. And then there’s the ‘Full Frequency Immersion technology’, built to replicate the feel of live music in your ears.

Though perhaps most handily of all, a Level App means the pair can scan your music and helps organise your playlists.

They probably do the washing up, too.
