Sonic Screwdriver Bottle Opener

We always thought Matt Smith's Doctor was a fun-loving Timelord - we didn't have him down as a conspicuous drinker though.

While most replicas of the 11th Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver aren't able to open doors, transmit data or bypass alien security systems, this latest model offered by Forbidden Planet does hide an immensely useful tool: a bottle opener hides in the handle.

A fitting Whovian kitchen accessory or perfect for a boozy cosplay costume, you can pick one up for £13.99. And do remember to drink responsibly: you may have as much luck with stairs as a dalek if you make excessive use of it.
