Bewildering Blank Keyboard

czx wietn galn> aweoi 23ngwo. That's the kind of nonsense we'd produce with Das Keyboard's 4 Ultimate.

This German-engineered luxury peripheral is an all-black slab of confusion. By Das Keyboard's logic, any typist worth their keystrokes won't give their keyboard so much as a downward glance - so why waste ink on marking the keys?

Typing elites can select from two styles of Cherry MX gold plated switches (the clever pressure sensitive circuit that picks up your button bashing): Blue gives a "clicky" tactile response which speeds up your typing, while Brown produces a less offensive, softer sound.

Other components are of a similarly exacting standard, from the anodized aluminium top to its extra long (2m), extra fast USB cable. Mercifully, the media controls do feature subtle hints as to their function, and it shouldn't take long to work out what the giant volume knob is for. For those of us who don't know our way around a QWERTY, they do a marked version too.
