Imagine being crowned ShortList’s Most Stylish Man. Imagine the prestige. Heck, imagine the pressure to look incredible at all times (no doubt the winner would revel in such constant expectation).

Well, with the entrants finalised, our expert panel had the unenviable task of choosing a winner amongst a huge selection of male fashion aficionados from across the UK. Their task was made slightly easier, given they were able to meet at London’s plush Waldorf Hilton Hotel on 29 May, ahead of the big reveal in June.

The well-qualified judging panel consisted of Christopher Appleton (Remington’s Sessions Stylist), Adrian Clark (ShortList Style Director), Lou Dalton (Fashion Designer), James Spreckley (Creative Director at Reiss) and Dounia Benjelloul (Male Model Booker at Select Models).

They looked out for great personal style, as well how the entrant chose to wear his outfit. This was no easy feat: with more than 500 entries to choose from, the panel poured over the images sent in from ShortList readers and decided their favourites.

By the end of this meeting of sartorial minds, the judges managed to agree on 10 shortlisted entrants, including a final winner and two runners-up.

Check out our gallery of entrants here and look out for our issue on 12 June, where we reveal the winner and runners-up.
