Vintage wear from Umbro

John Smedley x Umbro double mix.jpg

What with Euro 2012, Wimbledon and the Olympics featuring heavily in our summer viewing schedule, we've been inspired to up our fitness levels and have started racing other commuters down the tube's escalators (not a word to Tfl).

But while our sporting prowess is improving, we don't exactly look the part. Luckily, Umbro have created a new line inspired by vintage pieces from the 1940s, with legendary knitwear brand John Smedley.

The capsule collection comprises the dark navy field sweater, which was originally worn as a track warm-up top, and the tangeru shirt, which comes in ecru and features red, white and blue stripes.

Both items are now available here

Umbro John Smedley Tangeru Shirt; £125.00, Umbro John Smedley Field Sweater; £175.00
