Unleash your rugged side

Be ready for anything with Puma’s Bonanza range

Unleash your rugged side
01 March 2011

Striking the right balance between formal and casual isn’t easy. A shoe, for example, can feel a little too over the top, while a trainer often shows a lack of effort.

Fortunately, Puma has cut a suitably charming swathe between the two with its Bonanza range of footwear, which would look at home in the office, the bar or around the home.

The shoes are rugged, tough and ready for anything, given their thick, rope-inspired lacing and antique metal hardware, set off by a textured rubber outsole. The Ranger LX Hi and Digger LX Lo are a dynamic duo, high-rolling with new materials and detailing.

The Ranger is high-collared and decked-out in leather, while the mid-cut Digger boasts a suede upper. Both versions feature a stamped ‘Bonanza’ on their distressed tongues. The original shoe was first introduced in 1978 and designed for jet-setting athletes.

Not for performing athletics, but rather for wearing during long-haul flights between races. That seems a slight waste to us, so please make sure you show them off a little better than that.
