The Jimmy Choo guide to exclusive Mayfair

Inspired by the free spirited nature of 80's New York and the dandyism of Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol, Jimmy Choo’s a/w13 collection features everyday classics, like the brogue and high tops with hints of new wave, glam rock, urban style and military detailing peppered throughout the range.

Whether you’re a man who likes the classics or one who likes to experiment with style, Jimmy Choo’s a/w13 menswear collection is the perfect accompaniment for the modern day gent about town.

So if you’re all dressed up with nowhere to go, we’ve selected a few swanky venues below to show off your new Jimmy Choo additions.

Late night dinner with friends

Coya, 118 Piccadilly, W1J 7NW

Reminiscent of heady nights out in Buenos Aires, Coya, located on bustling Piccadilly, is one of the hottest venues to hit the capital. Part restaurant, part members club, Coya is the creation of Arjun Waney, the brainchild behind Zuma, La Petite Maison and Arts Club. Expect to find the finest South American grilled meats cooked to perfection on an open grill by head chef, Sanjay Dwivedi. But it’s the cocktails (the pisco sour comes highly recommended) that will have you coming back for more.

Leisurely weekend

Waddington Custot Galleries, 11-12 Cork Street, W1S 3LT

Artsy types will love this quaint gallery located in the heart of Mayfair. Its minimalist space is the perfect home for modern and contemporary paintings and sculptures. This month they play host to Pop Imagery - an eclectic exhibition influenced by Pop Art featuring contemporary artists such as Peter Blake and Patrick Caulfield.

After work drinks

Luggage Room, On the Corner, Grosvenor Square, W1K 6JP

If there ever was a place that oozed style, exclusivity and if we’re honest, shady late-night dealings, it’s the Luggage Room. Tucked neatly in the Marriot Hotel, you have to go through a ‘secret’ entrance and knock on the door to gain entry. The décor, like the name, looks like a luggage trunk, leather panels and shiny metal but once in, head to the bar for a classic martini or a top-drawer spirit on the rocks.

Weekend Brunch

34, 34 Upper Grosvenor St, W1K 2HD

After a busy week in the office, there’s nothing better than starting your weekend with a hearty brunch, that’s breakfast and lunch for the uninitiated. The stylish 34 restaurant which has the cool of the upper eastside and the class of Mayfair has a brunch menu worthy of a standing ovation. Head chef, Paul Brown whips up the melt-in-your-mouth buttermilk pancakes or for a more decadent experience try the lobster Thermidor omelette.
