Y-3 Hayex High 'Zebra'

Men should never do zebra print. Ever. There is no exception to this rule. Which puts these Y-3 Hayex high-tops in a bit of a grey (white and black) area.

Taken from Yohji Yamamoto ongoing partnership with adidas, this latest addition to Y-3's A/W 2014 footwear range sits halfway between a high top and a hiking bot. Given that the bold print is a geometric pattern rather than actual (or fake) zebra hide, we'll let you get away with these.

The Hayex High features a mixture of leather and mesh materials, with hiking boot eyelets and a chunky, extended heel unit - ideal for stamping the shoe off after a mud-soaked walk.

Rugged and versatile, best leave these behind should you be headed out on safari. Look out for them on Y-3's online store in coming months.
