Vans' new Christmas collection proves beyond doubt that Santa is real

Christmas jumpers aren’t the most stylish way to dress for the festive period with their obscene colours and migraine inducing lights, but Vans has devised a slick solution that’ll boost your streetwear credentials and not dampen your Christmas spirit.

The iconic skate brand celebrate its 50th anniversary by reissuing a vintage holiday print, featuring a jolly take on the skull & crossbones with candy canes instead of bones, and the skull topped with a Santa hat, which covers the classic Sk8-hi 38 and Old Skool 36 shapes. Other details include HO HO HO laces and their signature suede uppers.

So, if your mum is in the habit of buying you ridiculous elf slippers every Christmas, this is the time to put her straight. You want Vans, mate, not novelty footwear for the house. Leave her laptop open with their website displaying as a hint. Also check here for other affordable festive gift guide inspiration.

The hi-tops will set you back £60 and the low tops £57, both available now.
