The Winter-Proof Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG

The nights are drawing in, your breath is starting to resemble a spell cast by Harry Potter as it hangs in the frosty air, and those puddles won’t splash themselves, will they?

So why not dress for the current environment with this slickly black and handsome pair, treated to a black-on-black colourway especially for winter, with Nike decking the classic shoe out in a monochrome black leather upper and gum bottom sole to ensure it's aptly equipped for dealing with tough conditions.

Not that you’ll want to get the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG too dirty, mind. The leather detailing is astonishing, evoking images of battered biker jackets and all things vintage Americana, which probably wasn't what basketballer-cum-footwear merchant Michael Jordan had in mind all those years ago but definitely works for us.

Just don’t take them off in the dark, you may never find them.

The shoe lands at Nike's Online Store for £90 on 6 December - posting and shipping charges will apply
