The gold trainers

hero_goldshoes.jpg

If you're one of those people who has even more money than those people who have more money than sense then we might have found something for you.

We imagine that your current trainers are pretty high-end and probably have some sort of Apple-made touchscreen embedded inside but, frankly, they're going to pale in comparison to these bad boys.

Niche designer Kenneth Courtney has created a pair of Nike trainers that have been dipped in 24-karat gold. Plus, there are only five pairs available, just to make you feel extra special.

If you fancy getting your privileged hands on a pair then they'll cost you $4,000 (£2,472). Yes, you read that correctly.

Snap a pair up right here.
