The Air Jordan Hyper Jade

Until now, we bet you thought the closest Michael Jordan had got to experiencing alien life had been via his iconic role in 1996 masterpiece Space Jam.

One look at these otherworldly kicks, however, and you might well revise that opinion. They’re the Air Jordan Hyper Jade, flaunting a dense upper mesh in a vivid light turquoise colour with matching midsole and a frozen blue sole almost as cool as the shoes themselves.

Following on from the similarly space-age Wolf Grey, it appears the brand are turning away from the science of dunking, and even urban style for that matter, to focus instead on futuristic looks.

Yep, we’d be just as happy sitting on the bench in this astonishing pair. After all, we wouldn’t want to scuff them.

Keep an eye on Nike's website - they’ll be released on 16 July.
