Retro Hare Jordan Trainer Returns

"But he's a rabbit?"

"What?"

"It's Bugs Bunny. He's a rabbit, not a hare... so the pun won't be accurate."

We like to think the above discussion was had some 23 years ago when the Warner Bros. marketing team began working on a sponsored_longform with Nike's Air Jordan. Mercifully, someone allowed the inaccurate pun to stand and the Hare Jordan was born.

Having first hit shelves and courts in 1992 after Michael Jordan's first championship season, the Jordan brand and Warner Bros. are resurrecting the Hare Jordan in celebration of the Air Jordan's 30th anniversary.

A minimalist white and grey colour pack, the design features Bugs leaping on the tongue tag, mirroring Jordan's own jumping man pose found on the heel.

Set to arrive at Nike retailers including Hanon on 4 March, a set of these retro kicks will set you back £95.

Now don't get us rabbiting on about a Space Jam sequel...
