Nike's Halloween-Themed SB Trainers

Nothing inspires quite the same levels of the terror, dread and frustration like an invitation that reads "Come to our Halloween party! Fancy dress compulsory". You'll be damned if you're ripping up another shirt and soaking it in beetroot only to be outdone by the full special effects makeup and contact lenses of your showier friends. Thankfully, Nike has arisen as the unlikely hero of our October costume woes.

The Nike SB Dunk Mid Pro "Halloween" allow you to get away with doing the bare minimum for your Halloween costume while retaining a shred more style than the average zombie offering. This predominately Gothic (well, black) shoe sports a build of leather and ripstop textile, providing contrasting textures for the upper section, while a mesh tongue and perforated toe box lend some breathability.

The Halloween theme is incredibly subtle, hinted to by the orange rubber outsole and SB tag. In fact, you'll have to take the trainer off to expose the evil pumpkin insole - a potentially terrifying task if you've forgotten to wear your good pair of socks.

Set to cost around £60, these haunted SBs are currently available through Premier
