Minimalist luxury with the Achilles Canvas Dark Blue

Who doesn't enjoy a shoe collaboration? We do. And this one's got French words in it so it's dead posh.

Common Projects has teamed up again with Swiss retailer Très Bien to create a new version of its Achilles low-tops.

Following on the heels of the now retired Achilles Gum Sole Black, the Achilles Canvas Dark Blue has the same minimalist aesthetic and exquisite attention to detail. It may not look not look traffic-stopping but every millimetre has been crafted to the highest quality.

Made in Italy, the navy cotton canvas upper is lined with suede and leather, stitched to a thick rubber sole, with the only hint of embellishment the discreet Common Projects gold logo.

You can order them for £200 from Très Bien from March 27. Craftsmanship doesn't come cheap.
