J Crew and New Balance mark Apollo 11 anniversary with 997 Moonshot

Athletic footwear brand New Balance has created a limited edition trainer with J Crew to celebrate the anniversary of Apollo 11.

Paying homage to one of history's biggest achievements where man first walked on the moon, the 997 Moonshot features off white suede to resemble the surface as well as dark leather to mirror deep space, and will come in sealed up silver collective packaging to resemble astronaut rations.

They won't stay on the planet for long, so make sure you grab a pair when they're released 20 July at selected J Crew stores and online.

The Moonshot costs £160 and will be available in both the Regent Street and Redchurch street stores in the UK and online at Jcrew.com
