Whenever a high-concept designer reveals their latest collection of trainers, we brace ourselves for the inevitable onslaught of the ridiculous and sublime. Givenchy's footwear range for Autumn/Winter 2014 is thankfully a pinch of the former with a healthy dose of the latter.

The new lineup features several variations of the Tyson high-top - the majority featuring white and black colour builds, with details picked out in contrasting blacks, whites and browns. The highlight of the collection is easily the brown leather iteration, featuring the label's signature star-studded ankle strap.

While we're not quite ready to bury ourselves in the depths of Autumn/Winter fashion just yet (we're still hoping that summer might turn up some time soon), it's nice to know that Givenchy has put together a collection that'll help us get through those cold, dark nights with a touch of urban flare. Keep an eye on their website for prices and the immanent due date.
