Converse Jack Purcell gum trainers

No, there hasn't been a mistake at the Converse factory - their latest Jack Purcell models really are supposed to come with that much gum.

The Crepe model takes the classic badminton shoe with smiling toe box and adds a chunky-yet-charming gum crepe sole. While not the best looking shoe of the summer, they're comfy as heck and ensure you won't feel a thing should you stub your toe retrieving a low-down backhand/fishing a beer out of the ice box.

Available from End for £79, these distinctive trainers won't be for everyone, but by-gum they'll ensure you stand out at the barbecue.
