£925 Golden High Tops

No, Midas hasn't been running amok in Footlocker - this is the latest gaudy high end train from American designer Jon Buscemi, and it's quite the head turner.

Hand crafted (naturally) in Civitanova, Italy, the 100MM is to high top trainers what Maybach and Bentley are to the car industry - vast, luxurious and a tad over the top for popping out to the shop in.

Constructed from a full grain leather finished in reflective gold, the 100MM features the signature luggage-inspired lock and key, finished in 18k gold.

Available from French retailer Colette, a pair of these golden 100MMs will set you back a wallet-emptying £925. Expect to see them lighting up hip hop stages and Premier League tour buses within the year.
