London's Hatwalk

The statues of London have had enough. They're fed up of being overlooked because of the Olympics and in a bid to get back some of that lost attention they've put on some "wacky" hats.

Okay, that's not true. It's actually a one-off event commissioned as part of the Olympic and Paralympic games.

Created by 'The Mayor of London Presents' which asks world-class artists to create pop-up shows and performances across London, the event is to demonstrate a different side of the capital.

And what better way to do that than by placing strange hats atop iconic statues around London?

Not sure the Americans will be thrilled with what we've stuck Franklin D. Roosevelt in (Picture 1).
