adidas Originals' retro football collection

The pubs of England will be filled with two kinds of fan this summer: those sweating it out in a £90 replica sports top destined to be called upon when the bathroom needs repainting next year, and those with the sense to buy something that doesn't go out of style.

adidas Originals' retro football range should appeal to the latter grouping. Their collection of t-shirts and jackets calls upon the classic designs of bygone tournaments, including Germany's laced 1954 shirt and Argentina's 1978 strip.

Given that our money is on the summer's home nation (though contagious national pride will inevitably sway us closer to kick off), we'd recommend the glorious golden Brazuca Retro Jersey. Because even if they don't win, Brazilian football will never go out of fashion.

With jerseys starting at £40 and jackets from £65, head to the adidas Originals site to see the full range.
