Be like Beckham

No other man embodies the 21st century male quite like David Beckham.

Masculine, successful, true to himself, constantly evolving and always on the cutting-edge of style, he’s one of the great icons of his generation. Little wonder he has a portfolio of fragrances.

The Essence – a fresh, masculine eau de toilette – is the latest from Beckham and is the perfect expression of Beckham’s cool, untamed masculinity.

The thought behind the fragrance was unearthing the very essence of David Beckham: when he’s away from the cameras and the football field, and with close friends and family, that’s the real him.

As he explains: “Everyone has their own sense of what makes them happy. I wanted the creative around The Essence to capture that sense of adventure, spending time away with the people you love and that powerful feeling of when you are at your happiest.

“The fragrance has a fresh vitality, which I hope men will like.”

The fragrance kicks off with zesty brightness of grapefruit blended with luminous violet leaves and sparkling lavender for an invigorating rush. The heart of Essence has a refreshing duo of juicy pineapple and crisp apple fuse with spicy notes of cardamom to reveal a strong virility. Finally, rich, earthy tones of tonka bean and cashmeran are enhanced by the magnetism of patchouli heart to leave you with a sensual warmth and elegance.

Dynamic and charismatic, this is a fragrance to be worn with confidence.
