The Aston Martin Cocktail Shaker

As it's January, we've been living a frugal existence and curbing any unnecessary and extravagant expenditure. But that was before we clapped eyes on this rather expensive Aston Martin cocktail shaker.

As part of the luxury goods range Silver by Aston Martin, the sterling silver shaker has the same sleek lines of the classic DB9, which is also the brand's most popular car.

Created by legendary silversmiths Grant Macdonald, the design references the iconic motor, right down to the crosshatching detail in the middle, which is inspired by the carbon fibre used inside the engine.

While it is an exquisite item, we're not sure we could justify the £9,750 ($15,500) price tag somehow, even if we're certain it will make our White Russians taste like utopia.
