The Eye-Catching Urwerk UR-110 Eastwood

Do you feel lucky, punk? Well do you?

Well you’ll be wanting to get your hands on this vintage new take on Urwerk’s modern 110 model, sharing its name with a Hollywood icon and boasting the sort of throwback vintage tweed look Dirty Harry himself would be proud of - hence why we misquoted him.
Hovering somewhere between rugged, traditional outdoorsy design and the open face futurism of the original timepiece, the tweed wool strap has been specially designed by bespoke suitmaker Timothy Everest. Not that it matches the watch itself for quality.

The components built inside the grade 5 titanium (we’d have taken grade 1 in truth) and bezel wood case contains enlarged black and white digits that present the hours on one side (and don’t pretend it doesn’t remind you of Phil Connor’s alarm clock in Groundhog Day), while the minute landmarks are squashed on the opposite side, in turn allowing extra space for other notable engines including rotating satellites, day and night indicator and seconds sub-dial.
So you may not be too surprised to learn that the price, available on request of order, is likely to be north of £100,000. If you’ve got the cash we suggest splashing it.

Because this doesn’t so much catch the eye as impale it.
