It happens: you're sitting opposite a guy on the train, and you notice he's wearing exactly the same trainers as you - or worse - the same jumper. What do you do? Do you stay and look like mildly pathetic twins in matching clothes, or get up and look just as stupid for being so vain? Talk about a rock and a hard place.
Luckily for you, if you're fed up with high street homogeneity, online fashion store ASOS.com's got the solution. Launching on October 16, Asos's new men's clothing range, "untitled", is based on the premise that limited-edition is better, and offers products rarer than an X Factor contestant who can sing, and in five key sections: denim, vinyl, sunglasses, trainers and new designers.
untitled may not have a proper name, but it's got some big names in the world of fashion behind it, including denim impresario Neil Christopher and sunglasses supremo Fraser Laing, who've crafted ultra chic products that only a select few will be able to get their hands on.
ASOS haven't said how many of each will be available, so you'll have to grab the exclusive goodies while you can when they go on sale next Thursday, but they have promised that not everything in the range will cost nearly as much as the flagship Adidas 35th anniversary shelltoes - at £4,000 a pop they don't come cheap. Now all you need to do is find them. Happy hunting.
