Aquascutum's vintage line-up

The cold weather is setting in and the time to kit yourself out with a new coat for the winter season is drawing near. The credit crunch might not make this as an exciting or stylish prospect as usual, but for those with more style than money, and money than sense, Aquascutum have you sorted.

The 150-year-old British clothesline has dipped into its records to come up with the inspiration for its retro-styled 2008/2009 limited-edition winter collection, and it's come up a good'un.  The menswear section's new chief, Graeme Fidler, has come up with nine coats, from sheepskin parkas to leathers and trench coats, all based on vintage designs - but with a modern twist.
