Crank was a box-office smash upon release in 2006, showcasing Jason Statham's hardman and stunt skills to the max, before spawning an equally successful sequel in Crank: High Voltage in 2009.

Statham featured as Chev Chelios, a compromised hit man who has to keep his adrenaline up in order to survive. Chev goes for some fairly extreme stuff to keep it flowing: if that had been us, we'd have knocked on our neighbour's door and tried to run away before they answered.
