The political plots quiz

By its very nature, politics and the corridors of power can attract, how shall we put it, a rum bunch. Whether it be seditious revolutionaries or deranged loners a few friends short of a Facebook account, both have been known to favour assassinations as a way of achieving their aims. So, to commemorate the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 ('Remember, remember the fifth of November') we’ve devised our own political assassinations quiz. And before we’re accused of wanton blood lust, you’ll soon discover that every assassination attempt below failed. Some spectacularly. Others less so.
